A body butter combining cocoa butter with vetiver, made by Adivasi women's collectives in central Kerala. Cocoa butter is the richest of the common plant butters and the most occlusive, which makes this the heaviest product in Forest Post's balm range — well suited to dry skin, elbows, heels and cold weather, less so to humid days. It also carries a natural chocolate note that most brands deodorise out; here it is left to sit under the vetiver. Vetiver is a deep, earthy, cooling root note traditionally associated with relief from heat across India, and it lasts far longer on skin than lighter florals. At ₹280 this is the priciest balm in the range, consistent with cocoa butter and vetiver both being costly inputs. Anhydrous, so no preservative required. Assessed on clean-label first principles rather than FSSAI. The full ingredient list, including carrier oils and the vetiver concentration, is not published.
