Teatree Beardwax

A tea tree beard wax in a 25g tin, made by Adivasi women's collectives in central Kerala. Beard wax sits between a conditioning oil and a styling product — the beeswax content gives light hold and tames stray hair, while the carrier oils condition both the beard and the skin underneath, which is where most beard itch actually originates. Tea tree is a sensible active for this application rather than a decorative one: it has genuine antimicrobial and antifungal activity, and the skin beneath a beard is exactly the warm, occluded environment where that matters. The beeswax comes from wild forest hives harvested by the same collectives that gather Forest Post's honey. Assessed on clean-label first principles rather than FSSAI, since cosmetics sit outside its remit. Two things unpublished: the carrier oils used, and the tea tree concentration — relevant because undiluted tea tree oil is a known skin irritant and sensitiser, so the dilution level genuinely matters here.
