Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is a single-ingredient, cold-pressed oil made from organic coconuts, giving a clean base for cooking and daily wellness use. It keeps a light texture and natural coconut aroma since nothing beyond the coconut itself goes into the bottle. With no refining, bleaching or deodorising declared, it suits sautéing, baking, oil pulling or topical use alike.

Why We Like It

  • This coconut oil keeps things simple — just organic coconut, cold-pressed, with the aroma and light texture intact.
  • An oil we are comfortable recommending for both the kitchen and everyday skin and hair care.
  • 88.4 g of saturated fat per 100 g — coconut oil is a saturated fat, and we would rather say so than skate past it.

How to use
01

Use for sautéing, baking or light stir-frying

02

Melt gently if solidified — it liquefies above roughly 24°C

03

Use for oil pulling or as a base for DIY skin and hair treatments

04

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight

What to look for in Coconut Oil?
01

Look for cold-pressed, wood-pressed or ghani on the pack. Refined oils are usually hexane-extracted, and that step is never declared.

02

The ingredient list should read as one oil. Blends are legal but dilute what you are paying for.

03

Unrefined oil carries its own colour and smell. A pale, odourless oil has been bleached and deodorised.

04

Buy a size you will finish in a few months. Unrefined oil oxidises faster than refined.

05

Virgin coconut oil solidifies below about 24°C. That is normal behaviour, not a sign of adulteration.
