Cinnamon Powder

Ground cinnamon from Aadhimalai's Nilgiris farmer cooperative, milled from their own bark without anti-caking agents, fillers or added starch. Worth noting how this SKU was verified: it does not appear as a distinct product on Aadhimalai's public website, which lists only a general whole 'Cinnamon' item, and we originally flagged it as unconfirmed. It now appears as its own line item with its own price on Aadhimalai's official 2026-27 price list, which confirms the product is real and currently produced. That resolves the existence question. What it does not resolve is species. As with their whole bark, Aadhimalai does not state whether this is true Ceylon cinnamon or Cassia — and in powder form you cannot tell by looking, which is precisely why powder is the riskier format to buy blind. Cassia carries meaningfully higher coumarin, relevant to anyone using cinnamon daily rather than occasionally. Fine for regular cooking and baking. Ask about species before daily therapeutic use.
